Freeway Blaster Horn - Soap, Sunscreen & Lip Balm - First Aid & Grooming - Camping

Our 2010 Honda Insight car came with a horn that sounded like a weak motorcycle "beep." The relay and high/low tone horns fit the car like they were replacement Honda parts - the relay on the old horn mount and the horns mounted below to a cross-member with pre-drilled holes.

Now if those deer would just pay attention...

Also, if the mounting tang or tab a horn is attached to is different than the one used to mount the stock horn, this can greatly influence loudness. A horn vibrates a lot when activated, and the mount must allow this resonance, or the horn will sound ‘off’ or ‘flat’. – Customer service’

Bought the blaster for my Triumph Explorer which had a very weak sounding horn. Install could not have been simpler, however blaster was really hard to tell if it was any louder than stock horn. Had to have my wife listen to each to decide. Only difference was blaster sound was much deeper sound like a car but really not any louder. Quite disappointed. Will look elsewhere for something louder. I would call this horn a freeway beeper not blaster.

For many years I have looked in vain for a horn for my bikes that can actually be heard. I don't know what in the world manufacturers of small vehicles are thinking when they provide only high pitched horns that get no attention. I would prefer a VERY low pitched blaster as semi trucks have, but that requires a too large air storage tank that is just impracticle on a motorcycle. This Freeway Blaster is the best I know of. It is not as low as I would like, but there are probably no electric horns that are. However, the Blaster is LOUD. I can hardly wait to use it.

Bought just the single low tone to replace a missing stock horn. Both tones would be better for sure, but it's still louder and deeper sounding than my other bikes. A very good deal.

I installed a pair on my CBX and they work great, nice tone and quite loud - and they don't look obnoxous. They are very sensitive to moisture, one stopped working after getting water in it. When I replaced them after 3 years, the terminals were in a different location, almost seems like they are arbitrarily located from unit to unit which caused a mounting problem for me.

Put both the high and low on my '08 Raider. Now I sound like a '72 Duster....which is good. I used the relay but the horns only work with the bike running. I never honk standing still with the bike off so it's ok with me.

I almost never use the horn but when I do I want it to get attention and this does the trick. Easy to install and easy to fit. Much better than stock BEEPBEEP horn!

Need both the high and low horns. Very loud and works well. I installed on a BMW R12GSA to replace the very anemic factory horn. A great improvement. I installed years ago on my K75C and wanted the new bike to be able to be heard as well.

I bought the low only to replace the dinky sounding OEM horn on my V-strom. I used a relay and ran it direct. It's much louder than the original. I'm very happy with the results.
