A self-priming fuel transfer system. No matter where you are, this ultra compact system won’t leave you stranded for long. Throw away that length of gnarly old hose and safely siphon fuel from any gas-powered device without getting a mouthful of gas.

This is one siphon that doesn’t suck. Simply insert the self-priming end into any non-empty gas tank, and put the other end into the transferring container/carrying case (that works a heck of a lot better than a crinkled Mountain Dew can). A few up and down motions and you’ll be siphonin’ away. The handy stopper clip maintains siphoning even when in the “off” position, so there’s no need to begin the process all over again between container transfers to your tank. The included super soak towel quickly cleans up any excess spills and everything fits neatly back into the transfer container/carrying case. Carrying case is 10.1"×2.6"×1.25" and holds 1/8 gallon of gas. Siphon is 68" long. Entire system weighs less than 4 oz.

A flexible, adhesive, wrap-around heating element with printed-circuit-type elements that fit between the handlebar and grip, keeping your digits from turning into frozen turkey feet during cold weather rides. These have been a popular way to make any bike more all-season rideable for years. Installation is DIY easy, and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to follow online. Ordinary low-budget sheet metal screws bite fine into ice but get ground away quick on paved surfaces. With sharp tips made of corrosion-proof, super hard, abrasion-resistant tungsten carbide, these ingeniously designed studs allow most of the tire’s rubber to be in contact with clear pavement while providing increased traction over mixed snow or ice. The best part is they’re simple to install — the studs self-tap with the included bit that fits any power drill. Just mark your tire, drill each one in and you’re ready to ride. Editorial, Field Tested: Aerostich Ultralight Bike Cover

A good place to collect all of your important or valuable stuff together so it will be easier for a bad person to steal it. Will save them time looking all over the place for the stuff when hidden in the bottom of a towel or beneath a sandwich or whatever. Or it could serve as a nice decoy, so inside you could put an actual sandwich or something so later, at their lair, the bad guy would open it and find a tasty surprise. 17 3/4”x1/4” cable. It can be unbelievably expensive to replace a cracked or rock chipped headlight lens. Some lenses are over two hundred dollars. Easy to apply, this thin 14-mil, cut-to-fit, double polished, ultra-clear, flexible film will have you ready for common detours, gravelly back roads and the big Cassier-to-Alcan-to-Anchorage (and back) ride. The headlight shield goes directly on the headlight lens so there is no place to trap moisture, dirt, and bugs. It is also UV resistant, won’t affect light pattern or output, and is all but unnoticeable. The thin protective layer also allows for better lamp cooling. Uses a unique, durable, peel and apply, later-removable, 3M adhesive. If additional protection is desired it can be double or triple layered to face oncoming traffic on gravel surfaces without fear. Handy pendant thermometer snaps onto zipper pulls, etc. The thermometer is sealed inside a protective acrylic case, and has a handy wind chill chart on the back. Hang from a pocket zipper or stick on your bikes dash or pack inside your sleeping bag or tent. 2", 1/3 oz.

An accurate, durable, easy-to-read liquid-filled compass that simply clips onto any 7⁄8" or 1" handlebar. Luminous 1" floating dial on jeweled pivot provides smooth rotation. Clip is easy to remove for accurate readings away from steel motorcycle parts.

Also as durable as the compass is an easy to read, liquid filled -20°F to +160°F thermometer. It too clips onto any 7⁄8" or 1" handlebar. One inch diameter dial.

The clock clip is specially made for us and features a sweep-second quartz movement that is not really intended for outdoor use but the prototype survived two seasons on Ed’s 500 single so we think it’s OK. YMMV, however.

Although the thick 12mm cable and Ace cylinder lock does not provide the ultimate heart-of-darkness bank vault security, this lock is so easy to use it’s perfect for everyday lockups.
