A fantastic semi-rigid sided tank bag and the result of decades of detailed refinements and improvements which help it work better and be easier to use on your trips across town or around the world. Know the health of your bikes charging system in real-time with this compact, waterproof, digital voltmeter. Reads tenths of a volt (12.6, 12.7, 12.8, etc) and is easy to install. Compact, easy to read, waterproof, vibration proof and dust proof.

Install with permanent double-sided mounting adhesive tape to attach to the side an instrument panel, triple clamp or fairing or use the removable (file or grind off) bosses for bolt-on dashboard installations.

Connect to any circuit that’s powered when your bikes’ key is in the ‘run’ position and you’ll see the battery’s voltage. Then hit the starter and the display will indicate the a slight voltage drop as the engine cranks over. And you’ll notice similar tenth-of-a-volt electrical fluctuations whenever a brake light, driving light, electric grips, horn or other electric load is added, and a correctly functioning charging system will stabilize the readout nearly instantaneously. Reassuring. But if you notice the system voltage is for some reason slowly dropping you’ve either added too much load, or the charging system isn’t working right, which is nice to know before unexpectedly finding yourself on the side of the road somewhere. Most bikes will run for some time if the charging system fails, so you can get to someplace better than a lonely roadside. A café, bike shop, motel, or home. Inexpensive peace of mind for the electrically paranoid.

Installation notes: Shortish 6” leads mean you’ll probably need add a bit of wire for most installations, and the display is bright enough to be read easily in direct sunlight so it may be overly bright at night…which can be adjusted/dimmed with nail polish or a thin fog of overspray. Specify Red, Green or Blue display color. Measures voltage from 3.5 to 30V. 1”x.6”x.7”.

A self-priming fuel transfer system. No matter where you are, this ultra compact system won’t leave you stranded for long. Throw away that length of gnarly old hose and safely siphon fuel from any gas-powered device without getting a mouthful of gas.

This is one siphon that doesn’t suck. Simply insert the self-priming end into any non-empty gas tank, and put the other end into the transferring container/carrying case (that works a heck of a lot better than a crinkled Mountain Dew can). A few up and down motions and you’ll be siphonin’ away. The handy stopper clip maintains siphoning even when in the “off” position, so there’s no need to begin the process all over again between container transfers to your tank. Electrify any jacket's performance with a Kanetsu liner. Closely patterned after the standard Aerostich Darien liner, this electrically heated version provides an under-jacket environment that's always a lot warmer than the outdoor ambient. *ELECTRIC LINER COMPATIBILITY: 2006 and newer BMW CAN-bus outlets are limited to 5.0 amps. Kanetsu Electric Liner (#267) and the Kanetsu AirVantage Electric Liner (#291) draw 5.5–5.7 amps, so the CAN-bus shuts down the circuit. The Kanetsu Electric Vests and Kanetsu Airvantage Electric Vests are ok because they draw less amps (no heated sleeves). An upgrade (or retrofit…) for the underarm and back vent zippers on all Aerostich Roadcrafter and Darien rider’s suits. The battery powered Remote Control sliders are the result of micro-miniaturization breakthroughs by the YKK zipper company and Mabuchi-Nanetronik Ltd., a private German-Japanese nanotechnology research effort. Aerostich is the first clothing company to offer them. They are perfect for these vents, because they make adjustments safe and easy. Remote Control Sliders eliminate the need to pull over to safely adjust the vents…and don’t require a helpful friend or removing one’s suit for the back vent adjustments. Now it’s simple as pressing a button! Each slider is about 10% larger than the equivalent manual type. Inside is a remote receiver, Mabuchi ‘pancake’ type 330541 stepper-motor, a tiny titanium planetary gear set and toothed cog -- which engages the zipper’s teeth to pull the slider rapidly in either direction. The sliders are controlled by a three button remote. Each powered slider uses a common (and included) replaceable Zink hearing aid battery good for about two hundred 12” zips. The remote includes both wrist and handlebar mounts. The price per slider, installed, is $177 (#RIDI). The remote -- which will control up to four sliders independently -- is $47 (#PARC). In person John was simply and quietly outstanding and force-of-nature unstoppable. He was gentle, funny, strong, humble, kind, generous, self-aware, mischievous and absolutely indomitable. He was also — and by far — the very strongest, best and most accomplished long-distance endurance motorcycle rider in the world. He challenged himself to accomplish the impossible and did, again and again. His untimely death in a motorcycle accident on a clear, sunny Sunday morning (October 13th, 2013) was devastating to his family, his friends and the endurance riding community.
