The TF3 versions are fully fitted for all Aerostich suits and jackets using integrated hook & loop mounts, or can be worn in another garment with the detachable, optional belt (available free upon request with purchase). An optional adapter sleeve (#1109) is available for the TF5 back protector to allow it to be worn via hook & loop attachments or with the optional belt. The Competition is a slightly stiffer back protector with an impact protection system similar to the Standard armor, but covering a larger area. It's ideal for track days, high speed backroad twisties and other fun hooligan-type riding applications. (You know who you are…) TF3, polyester, and Cordura.

A new generation impact protection system for the Aerostich Transit Suit. Specially developed armor provides high comfort with extraordinary security. Maintains impact dampening abilities in both high and low impact situations. These molded pre-curved pads provide secure hip protection. 5 ½” x 7 ½”. Added security and protection to your chest area with this dual-layer TF6 Impact Armor that attaches easily to the integrated loop sections of the RoadcrafterLight, R-3 and R-3 Light. Lightweight, breathable, visco-elastic torso security. 10"×9.5". Hard impacts to the upper chest area are uncommon but not unknown in crash scenarios. These may result in serious heart muscle injury, arterial and vein injury, lung collapse, and broken ribs. This engineered TF6 pad absorbs impact energy and includes a hidden hard-shell area offset so it is positioned directly over the heart. Easy to install and remove, and unobtrusive when worn. You won’t notice it’s there.
