The grey TLTec Wind Pro model features a thick, dense 200 wt. wind resistant “super fleece” which is extremely breathable yet provides 4x better insulation and more draft resistance than common department store fleeces.
The blue TLTec Wind Blocker version is made with a slightly thinner and even more highly windproof 100 wt. fleece that offers 2X faster moisture wicking than other windproof fleeces, while retaining good breathability for all day comfort. It's also marginally more compact-to-pack. Because of its slightly more wind-blocking TL Tec, it also offers a bit higher insulation level (as measured in lab testing) than the noticeably thicker Wind Pro model.
Wear either as a cold weather comfort layer inside a Darien Jacket, or alone as a casual/off-bike jacket. Wherever you are going, both eliminate some of the weight and bulk of traditional liners, and both are equally long-use durable. They both feature a durable water repellent (DWR) finish to keep you drier and more comfortable thru the wettest conditions.
Either version will wear a good deal warmer than you'd expect on cool mornings, and both compliment a Darien jacket perfectly. *ELECTRIC LINER COMPATIBILITY: 2006 and newer BMW CAN-bus outlets are limited to 5.0 amps. Kanetsu Electric Liner (#267) and the Kanetsu AirVantage Electric Liner (#291) draw 5.5–5.7 amps, so the CAN-bus shuts down the circuit. The Kanetsu Electric Vests and Kanetsu Airvantage Electric Vests are ok because they draw less amps (no heated sleeves). This one uses a supple 10.10 oz. English waxed cotton, with an added layer of waxed cotton fabric incorporated for increased abrasion protection at the elbow and shoulder areas. For greater comfort and super fast on-and-off CJ’s are fully lined with black supernyl. It’s a dense weave nylon that looks and feels a bit like satin but is far more durable. These Competition Laces are designed to be more durable and convenient to use than the standard laces. The tighter weave nylon material frays less does not stick to the hook area of the boot flap. The slightly longer 60" overall length allows custom cut-to-length for a perfect fit for your boots and less excess lace to tuck under the outer flap. Cordlock not included—we recommend re-using the cordlock from the existing laces.

A removable adjustable bungee goes laterally across the map window and is a perfect way to briefly hold your gloves at a gas stop, or a ticket for a parking garage or toll road. On the left side a Ram-Mount ball is fastened to an internal aluminum brace going across the inside bottom of the bag providing stability for mounting a platform of your choice: cell phone, GPS or radar detector. (When you pull the tank bag off the bike, that valuable devide goes with you.) The YKK zipper operates easily with a gloved hand and the single storage compartment comfortably holds all quick-access items you'll need. Lighter-weight yet strong HT200 Denier Nylon TLTex® fabric with added 500 Denier abrasion-resisting areas at the elbow, shoulder and knees to provide increased abrasion resistance. Six removable oversized visco-elastic TF3 or TF6 impact pads provide additional abrasion and impact protection at the elbow, shoulder and knees, too.
