Compared to bungees and nets, straps are more secure because they can be cinched almost completely solid, which prevents loads shifting on washboard gravel or bumpy paved backroads. The 1" quick release Delrin buckle made will handle a minimum of 250 lbs. Similar looking straps sold in camping stores are too short to be useful for packing a bike and the buckles are not-quite-strong-enough. These are over eight feet long (100"), and the webbing has a 1300 lb break strength. (May be cut to shorter lengths and fuse the ends with a cigarette lighter). Sold in sets of 3.

Helps to maintain stability and lessens shifting during riding, particularly helpful when riding sport bikes with low bars.

You’ll quickly become addicted to this faceshield squeegee. Made of a stretchy silicone material that easily conforms to the thumb or index finger of your left hand, VeeWipes make riding in the rain safer. Yes, I do use our little face shield kit. And for some reason don’t miss the ’spray pump’ component. Over the last few years I've become more squeamish about using the filthy windshield cleaning tools in the dirty water out by the gas pumps. I was fine doing that for years but now what I do is take some of the paper towels off the pump island and jam them into my helmet and use the sink in the rest room to clean my helmet. This takes a little more time but at least I’m getting clean water. I don’t use the Protect-All wax (one bottle has windex and the other Protect-All) during the day. I usually apply a fresh coat at night after the day’s ride is over. My last trip was six road days and four motel nights (to-and-from NYC the slow way) so I did the wax treatment four times. When it rains on a Protect-All’d face shield it’s almost as good as Armor-All, and bug splats are also easier to remove.

This connector is used as a suit side entry pocket pass-through, and eliminates the need to thread the power wire through the side entry zip in one piece suits. The SAE end plugs into the electric garment, ending in a QuiConnect 2 coaxial male connector (inside the suit).
